BirCraft offer an extensive range of AC & DC tacho generators complying to international specifications. The voltages range from 2 V to 6000 V per 1000 rpm. There are also various extra options which can be included to customer requirements. Our selection of hollow shaft tacho generators have voltage ranges from 2V to 60V per 1000 rpm, with either silver or copper commutators, external diameters from 50.8 to 116 mm and an armature bore from 6 to 38 mm.

We supply a 3 phase AC generator with incorporated rectifier from speed ranges 50 to 12000 rpm. These units have hollow shafts and an armature bore of 10 to 15 mm.

The brushless DC tacho generator has the following to offer; speed range to 5 to 10000 rpm in either shaft or hollow shaft version.

Our range of Tacho Generators & Encoders are used in a wide range of industry: paper, railways, metallurgy, explosive atmosphere conditions and the iron and steel industry. The specs include :- Protection : IP32- IP33- IP53 - IP55, Speeds from 10 000 to 20 000 rpm, Frequency at 1000 rpm: 67 to 250Hz, Voltages both single and three phase and Mountings; foot, flange and floating.
